By using The East Connection's services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

The East Connection provides customs brokerage, import/export services, customs clearance, and door-to-door delivery services in Barbados. All services are subject to availability and compliance with local regulations.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete documentation for all shipments
• Ensuring goods comply with Barbados import regulations
• Payment of all duties, taxes, and service fees
• Providing truthful declarations of shipment contents and values

4. Fees and Payment

All fees must be paid before shipment release. Customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the client. Service fees are based on shipment complexity and will be quoted prior to service commencement.

5. Liability

The East Connection is not liable for delays caused by customs authorities, incomplete documentation, or force majeure events. We exercise reasonable care in handling shipments but are not liable for damage resulting from improper packaging or prohibited items.

6. Prohibited Items

We do not handle illegal goods, weapons, hazardous materials, or any items prohibited by Barbados law. Clients attempting to ship prohibited items may face legal consequences.

7. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. Once customs processing has begun, cancellation fees may apply.
